RAIDER...........septic system and clay

we have a septic system and it seems not a good idea to put this clay in. when i drained the tub i put a towel over and around the drain. it was difficult to get the water down, 2nd time usually is easier. there was a layer of clay in the tub, i used paper towels to scoop it in a plastic bag. i thought it was worth it, the clay is under $10. i could not tell if i got any metal out. hope this helps, johanna Tweet
