Re: Unveiling Fecal Odor Treatment And Cause

Whenever you eat meat, your body produces Hydrochloric acid to break it down. The mucus is secreted to act as a buffer between your stomach lining and the acid. Most soda is very acidic and requires the same buffer. I think you're right that too much mucus causing foods will cause feces to get bogged down in the intestine, but I don't think that is the cause of our smell. There are a lot of people in this world who have a serious problem with obesity. I have not yet met one who smells like feces(not to say there aren't obese people with this problem, I'm just saying it doesn't seem like the two things are directly related). All in all, though, I really don't have a clue. I guess if you got one really concentrated area of feces that hadn't been able to pass for ages it might cause the smell. So one thing you might want to use to help flush things out is Lactulose along with a good fibre suppliment. Lactulose is a stool softener. It is supposed to soften the crap caught on the walls and make it easier to pass. That's what I did right before I started the candida cleanse and it helped a lot. Maybe you could do it along with the almighty cleanse or something.
