I believe Dr. Schulze Colon Cleanse # 1 contains Senna and Cascara Segrada. You should verify this. The ingedients will be listed on the bottle.

Cascara Segrada should never be used for more than 7 consecutive days as it may cause dependency. This is a fact! Senna may be habit forming as well and should be used sparingly.

There are many, many remedies for colitis that not only can be taken on a daily basis with no harmful side effects, but should be.

You might consider an all-natural fiber product that contains psyllium husks, psyllium seed, flax seed, fennel seed, apple pectin and beet root fiber. Go on-line or to your nearest health food store.

Metamucil or similar products containing artifical color, artificial flavoring, aspartame, etc. are not recommended.
