Hi Norman,
Since I don't know the exact amount of cascara or senna Dr Shchulze is using I would try to find another solution. You can take cascara for a longer period of time then senna but I wouldn't recommend continual use. Turkey rubarb and butternut are mild stimulants and I would feel better about you taking those long term.
If you stop taking the Dr Schulze product, do you feel like your situation is improving? If so then it is correctve. If not, then it is not corective, at least not for you. In other words the Dr Schulze product encourages but does not "train" your body to evolve so you don't have to continually take it. A corretive will "correct" the problem so that continual use is not necessary.
You stated that you have tried other products. What about your diet? Red meat encourages a slow colon. Vegetable protein is a really good source of fiber and it will give the colon muscles more structure. Take a look at your diet and see if you see any room for improvement. If you are already eating right then finding a product containing a mild stimulant could be the the next step.
Make sure the supplement you chose has emollients and lubricants along with fiber and a mild stimulant. This will encourage your body to go on its own.
Our "Promote" product contains small amounts of cascara. You could try it and see if it helps you. Take it for a 30 days then switch to a product containing turkey rubarb and butternut. Then switch back to Promote and so on. This way your body doesn't get dependent on cascara. If Promote doesn't work out for you, send it back to us for a refund.
If you cleanse your liver and pancreas you will create colon stimulation through normalized enzymatic activity.
I will look into some other supplements and make more suggestions. Give me a day or so to look at some products that might fit your needs.
Namaste,
