What are colloidal minerals?

I won't ask about the MSM if it tastes bad. I had to get him to take pills a couple times before, and it was always a major undertaking. He even figured out if he held the pill in his mouth a minute I'd think that he swallowed it. Then, as soon as he thought my back was turned, he'd spit it out! LOL
