Re: My hypoglycemia cure
Hypoglycemia symptoms are symptoms of low blood sugar, perhaps you are eating so many that your blood
Sugar no longer goes low? Do you eat them inbetween meals and all day long? What is your goji eating schedule like?
I have hypo and can avoid symptoms when I eat long lasting carbohydrate foods that are high in fiber-goji would apply. I have been eating them for the past two days and can say that they definately keep the blood glucose elevated for a long time-which is a good thing for my hypo but not necessarily good because high blood glucose is also bad for ones health.
Have you tested your blood glucose, if so do you experience highs as well as lows? Most people who have hypo do not have "true" hypoglycemia (that is a blood
Sugar level below 60 mg/dl) but instead "reactive" hypoglycemia which is a fast bounce from a high blood
Sugar to a low/lower blood sugar. Its the fast decent from high to low that creates the bad symptoms as the hormones get wacky. I can actually feel hypo and have a normal blood glucose level.
thanks,
oh and I love the goji berries very much I wish I had discovered them sooner!
