Coffee!!
Hi Kelley,
I have a serious coffee problem. I usually drink two to three cups per day--I love the taste (and hate decaf--even the high-end decaf drinks).
I have been trying to cup back to one cup a day; a couple times in the last week, on the days when I didn't have more than one cup in the morning, I was just miserable in the afternoon. I almost fell asleep right in front of my colleague at work in the middle of our conversation. Well, I finally gave in and drank a cup. Wouldn't you know I perked up immediately.
This tells me I am addicted to coffee. I don't like that. How can I wean myself away from the need for caffeine? I also notice on the weekends when I am not working, I always need an hour's worth of a nap in the afternoon. I try to get more sleep, but my efforts don't always work. I almost always automatically wake up without an alarm clock around 4:30 AM (sometimes earlier), whether I fall asleep at 9:30 PM or after midnight.
Any advice you have would be taken to heart. Thanks so much!
