Re: Inherited Liver Problem Causing Hypoglycemia

Are you getting enough essential fatty acids in your diet? Light colored stool implies a SHORTAGE of bile, not an excess. Bile is only produced when one eats fats. We need fats to absorb the fat soluble nutrients -- A, D, E, K, etc. Try adding raw almonds, or walnuts to your meals. Sprinkle chopped nuts on your breakfast yogurt or musli. Sprinkle them on your salads. Have a dozen nuts with an apple or pear. Dip carrots in almond butter...

I use 1 TBS of molecularly distilled fish oil or cod liver oil as a base for my salad dressings. It is nutral in flavor (unlike flax oil), though I get the lemon scented oil from Carlson's. It is wonderful on a salad of bitter greens, mixed with mustard and a squeeze of orange juice.

Have you had your thyroid checked? Alopecia may be thyroid related. Sleep apnea deserves attention. It will strain the heart if left untreated. A CPAP machine may lead you to a restful night sleep.
