Here is an experiment you can do to find out just how infected a raw piece of meat is. (This works with any solid piece of meat) Get a container that is big enough to hold the meat place your piece of meat into it, then pour enough vinegar to cover the entire surface area of the meat. Let it soak for about 15 minutes or so and watch how many parasites scramble out of the meat. This was an experiment I did in high school Science class and it was really an eye opener.
