Interesting you mentioned surgery. To me, from what I have read, there is really no solution except the fluid and diet. They will do liver biopsies, just to prove that is really pancreatitis (or more money in their pocket).

The vet had also pancreatitis and she has gone to the hospital so far 4 times.
I suggested that she should at least try an alternative route, what is not easy for a vet. You could see her thinking. I told her in a few sentences about my healed gallbladder.

We did the fluid at home, I did not give the PepticAC, like she suggested. Just the small meals I made.

She wanted to repeat x-rays and ultrasound, we skipped that. Only did 2 more bloodtests afterwards.

I am sure it will be a weak spot in his body and we will always watch him like a hawk.
