Did I feed the BEAST?
After being on a very strict candida diet for 3 months, and not seeing any results, I broke down and ate cookies and a hamburger with a white flour bun (YIKES)!
Along with internal candida I also have thrush and judge how well I am doing each day based on how I feel and how well my tongue looks. Since I began the diet my tongue does not burn 100% of the time any longer, but other then that it is still exactly the same. Deep cracks along with the thrush.
About a month ago I cut out the four grains I was eating (amaranth, millet, quioa, and buckwheat) and then all meat, fish, and eggs. My tongue looked incredibly bad (this happens about every three weeks), I was exhausted (as usual) and felt like what is the point with such little improvment. After eating the cookies and hamburger the next day and for a few days after that I felt so much better, my tongue looked so much better then it had in a while.
What I wanted to know is, did I feed the beast (candida) and then it quieted down. Did it look so bad prior to eating that junk because of candida die off and does Candida go in a 2-3 week cycle, as reflected in my tongue? HELP!
I am getting ready to start P+B shakes, I was advised not to add any candida flush, or any other kind of cleanse until my colon is clear and that it could take quite a while.
Any ideas?
