The fast when I lost 8 pounds was 14 days long. My husband did the fast with me and he lost 22 pounds...and he had more to lose when we started. :)

The first time I did the MC, I lost more weight after I broke than I did while I was fasting. Don't get hung up on the scale...especially on day 2!!
