All of your inquiries are definitely possibilities as to why your weight loss has been slow. It will also depend on how overweight you were prior to starting the MC. On my last MC, I started out at about 10
pounds overweight for my height. I actually gained weight the first few days, but by the time my fast and break were over I had lost 8 or so.
Many people don't bother weighing themselves while they are on the MC. They just go by how their clothing fits. I am a "data collector" and it drives me crazy if I don't check everyday, but I don't let it bother me when I see the scale going in the wrong direction!
