Be very careful about any oil that slips out of the mouth while pulling.  It will cause breakouts there, beneath the lower lip area....I learned that the first week of pulling.   My son had the same thing happen to him until I mentioned this to him.  I am very careful to clean any area around my mouth that has had oil from pulling escape.  This might help.
