Has anyone used oil pulling for acne? What were your results? I found out about this therapy 3 days ago and started it right away. I got the organic sunflower oil. 2 questions, does it make Acne worse first before it gets better? I developed these hive like things on my chin/mouth area (where I never get acne)and I'm wondering why?
Also, mine doesn't turn white like it's supposed to, it comes out almost like a light yellow and I do it for about 15 minutes. Am I doing something wrong or does it take a while for some people?

After 3 days, which is how long you've been doing it too, I also developed acne/hive like pistules around my jaw area, especially near my mouth. TOday is day 5 for me and they're going away quickly.

This is a reply to # 747,290I have been oil pulling for a few months now, and have only recently noticed more Acne around my mouth and jaw. I didn't connect it to the oil pulling until reading these posts.

MoreThis is a reply to # 747,397Clearer sinuses, cleaner and whiter teeth, no bad breath in the morning from food the day before(this is a new one that I just realized in the last few days - after I ate some very strong onions!), softer skin (elbows and feet).

This is a reply to # 747,365Be very careful about any oil that slips out of the mouth while pulling. It will cause breakouts there, beneath the lower lip area....I learned that the first week of pulling. My son had the same thing happen to him until I mentioned this to him. I am very careful to clean any area around my mouth that has had oil from pulling escape. This might help.

Oil Pulling is detoxing. Acne is a sign of the toxins trying to get out, taking the path of least resistance. If you will do a colon cleanse they will go out the other direction. There are many ways to do a colon cleanse. There are forums here on Curezone that can help you decide which way to go. The quickest way is to get a professional colonic. Or, you could do an enema. I don't like either of those options personally so I take a teaspoon of Epsom salt with a small amount of warm water before bed (doesn't taste great, but not bad) and do a salt water flush in the morning. That keeps my colon clean as well as giving me other benefits as well. Magnesium in the ES and a multitude of minerals in the sea salt. There are other products you can buy as well. The clay mask sounds like a good idea and you could take a few Epsom salt baths too. I add a little apple cider vinegar and oregano oil to my bath as well. Very relaxing and smells so good! Acne is not fun. Good luck getting rid of it forever. I think OP is a great way to start!!
