I have the same problem. I chug the whole quart of salt water(which btw doesnt bother me at all)and I dont get anything until hours later, and its nothing substantial.
I tried adding another tsp of salt, but it didnt make a difference.
Somer, does using your method have better results, or is it more for comfort?
Btw, Im on day 3 of the mc, using bsm instead of maple syrup because Im a diabetic. First few days were rough and I felt like I was getting the flu, but Im feeling really good today. Have lost 8 pounds so far, and I can see it in my face. A lot of it is probably water, but I still think it's good to lose bloat wieght. Hoping to get to 10 days, maybe even 21 if Im up for it. We'll see!
