That is such a wondeful post. I really enjoyed your points of view and couldn't agree more.
Well I think I'm a little late is some of the problem. My daughter is already almost 8 and I only really starting getting the big picture a few years ago :-(. I think it's a little easier if you start earlier and then they're used to eating 'differently'.
I live in an area also where healthy eating is not embraced ( deep south ). I always feel kind of wierd cause everyone knows me at my health food store/market. lol. I suppose it does not matter though. I've been too ill over the years to give a damn what people think. I just chose not to have friends, but then again most of the time i was not well enough to bother anyway.
Good luck with the home schooling. Gosh, that's not anything I would want to tackle. But I've already raised two boys and i'm tired and ready to begin doing more for ME!
