I bet you were not breastfed and that you had lots of vaccinations. I know what you mean about those who were supposed to protect you didn't. They didn't know any better. My mother made every mistake she could have made. At 18 I had taken so many rounds of Antibiotics because of strep throat. I finally said to my mother that something must be wrong, as it is not nomal for someone to get sick every time they quit taking Antibiotics . I had my tonsils out at 19. Well there went 1/3 of my immune function.

All of my health issues are iatrogenic (caused by doctors) - every last one of them. I have taken this anger and propelled it into ferociously protecting my child and into helping other moms listen to their inner voices and not all of the BS in this world that changes daily to make a buck for someone. I have no agenda. I am a mother and I certainly do not gain anything since information and encouragement are free. Almost all poor decisions are based on lack of information. Hopefully one can get over it and embrace the truth when they find it! Oops I am beginning to rant.

Anyway, many children begin life being poisoned with cow's milk and then vaccinations and then everything else and then comes the onslaught of the Antibiotics that have gotten us all into this mess. The beginning of all beginnings, when it comes to building a healthy body and immune system, is breasfeeding a child.

I found great healing in making better choices. Being able to do this also allowed me to forgive my mom for all of the ignorant things she did. Good for you that you are in control of your health. To know that it should not be taken for granted at a young age will surely be of benefit to you and those around you. All the best on your journey.
