It may be a fun experiment to see if you can find a basic Herb Identifiers Guide and use it to see if you can then take a walk around your greater neighborhood and find a local source of Elderberry still growing in the ground. So far, I do not know how to identify many herbs, but I'm slowly gaining. There is a Mulberry tree in the back yard....not sure what it may be good for, but it's there right beside a lovely crop of young Sassafras sapplings :)
