I am so sorry to hear that your dog has this ! I just read up on it. There is lots of information...I use the search engine at www.google.com I do not know if your herb, also known as eyebright, will work, but I would try it too if it was my dog. I did find an article stating that using cyclosporin is about 75 per cent effective. I am so read of the insane surgery performed.....redirecting the saliva to go into the dog's eye !! Hmmmm.....does not sound too good to me, how about you ? I also read that your dog's breed is one of the breeds that get this often. Also, some other quack vet said that partially suturing the eye lid shut helps !! Unbelieveablt isn't is ?????

I do not even try and take my dog for walks. He jerks too hard on the leash and it hurts my back really bad. I still have to look into getting a thing called a halti for him so I can control him better. It is a device that looks like a horse halter. I do not know how I will ever get him to stop having runny bowel accidents when he is outside and gets scared !! The poor dog !! He will be three years old on February 1. Happy Birthday Foxie !!
