Re: This answer is coming in five parts
Thank you so much for your patience and your prayers. I want to share a little bit of the personal tragedy my family is currently experiencing because it will help you in understanding why I stress the importance of healthy eating and drinking as it relates to good health.
One of my uncles (my mother's brother) recently attempted suicide (by overdose on prescription pills) because he didn't like the prognosis of having to undergo weekly dialysis treatments; due to his kidney failure/disease. His life was spared by the emergency room staff; yet it (the suicide attempt) left him in an even worse condition than he was before he tried to take his life.
The reason I'm sharing this story with you is not to gain sympathy; but rather, it is to illustrate the importance of internal cleansing, detoxing, eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. I once had a conversation with my uncle regarding my mother's skin problems and relayed to him that her not drinking water (instead opting for soft drinks) played a major role in her suffering with eczema. When I said that, he stated to me that he didn't drink water either. In his case, it became a more severe problem; because in addition to his not drinking water, he consumed alcohol/beer. From this unhealthy practice, he developed very painful gout; and eventually, kidney disease. Both he and my mother look at me as if I had two heads when I stress the importance of drinking water in the pursuit of good health. Their suffering is not by chance; but by choice. They chose a behavior that has promoted their disease. Their decisions regarding this unhealthy practice is perpetuated by a medical community who fails to acknowledge that there is a connection between the diseases my loved ones suffer and the food & drink they place in their mouths. Both my uncle and my mother have opted for the quick fix pill or cream to fight their disease, as a preference over eating and drinking healthy. Over time that lifestyle catches up with you...
