Re: Numbness in Limbs
Hey JMRN! Thanks for your reply.
Really? You too? My chiro, several years ago, took a police baton-like object and was digging it in my upper center back until I was yelling bloody murder!..OUCH!!! It was terribly painful. Apparently he was doing that to release the muscular and tendons tension that had built up and I do remember towards the end of his digging, feeling the numbness appear in both arms and hands. By the way, he felt really bad for putting me through that pain and called me the next day to see how I was doing..(chuckles!!)
Anyway, I can't even lift my arms above my head as I will start to feel the numbness and tingling sensations but it's definitely the worst laying down. I usually like read in before going to sleep and will put a pillow on my stomach to rest the book, but within five minutes, because my arms are slightly elevated, the numbness appears. Did you have that too? ARGHH!!... frustrating!
I think the cause is also from my heavy workouts to my back and sitting all day in front of a computer screen for years. Bad on the back. I am just worried when I reach my senior years how I will feel and want this corrected before then.
I will try more light shoulder exercises and definitely watch my posture too.
Thanks again!!
