Hi! It is great that you want to do the MC! It is a wonderful wonderful thing!!

If you drink caffeine, you may want to wean yourself off slowly over the next week. If you stop "cold turkey" when you start the cleanse, you will have headaches (withdraw symptoms) the first couple of days.

Eat as healthy as possible over the next week. Lots of raw veggies and fruit juices. Try not to eat many processed foods, dairy, sugar, etc. This will set you up for a better start

Most people feel pretty badly the first 3-5 days. Headaches, nauseau, depression, lack of energy, chills, sore throat. These are all detox symptoms, and will disappear after a couple of days. You just have to keep reminding yourself of why you are doing the cleanse and keep drinking water, lemonade, lax tea, and the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) to keep the toxins moving OUT! Once the first couple of days are past, then people start noticing that they are sleeping better, have more energy, less brain fog, aches and pains start to disappear. You will have good days and bad days as your body starts cleaning out old junk and the good days are usually enough to keep people coming back for more! If you have a few extra pounds, you may see them disappear as well. If you break the fast well and keep with a healthy diet, you may see more pounds come off. If you are underweight, you may gain some pounds.

It helps to blog your experience or keep a journal. When I am having a bad day, I like to go back and read my previous journal entries so that I can remind myself of the things that my body has been working on.
