I'd like more sepcifics
How old is your baby?

The reason I ask is I found nursing did 2 things for me and is known generally for these 2 things:
It eats up calories by the baby's demand for nourishment
and it finally flattens the stomach
While the child suckles the muscles in the uterus contract

This is NOT an overnight get quick fix

Forgive me, but nothing that is lasting in nature is a quick fix
Often I find the CZ crowd beginning to mirror the allopathic model
in such that the mentally of an 11 day fast is only a beginning and
in your lovely place in life the results you are seeking will be yours by
staying the course that you felt important -Breatfeeding your child

Why not relax into the richness of the knowledge that you womanly
body knows what to do and will take care of these issues on its own
stay centered and loving- (even though you are probably sleep deprived since breast fed babies can thoroughly digest breast milk, and want feedings sooner-more calories burnt )

All is well, all can wait for another time, enjoy what is now and radiate
within the pleasurable satisfaction that suckling a child can bring!

I remember when the "let down" (the milk begins to flow through the nipples) occurred I felt so relaxed that I melted into the act of joining with my child
It was a time of knowing all else had to wait-

Although as she became an older baby 8-18 months) I would eat while she nursed- all her clothes had little food stains from me trying to eat and manage the distance from the table with the food on the fork- sometimes it didn't make it!
