the root canal should be pulled and cleaned. the tattoo should be surgically removed. if you do any chelation, it can pull mercury out of the teeth and the tattoo and make you sick. the staining of the teeth from mercury is normal. much of the time, the stains will remain and should not be removed because too much tooth structure would need removed. the stains don't have mercury in them and are ok.
