Letting go...

For those of you who followed Lucky's progress over the last few months: we are nearing the end. Lucky is ready to cross over and I am waiting for nature to take its course. Thankfully she is completely pain free but she is growing tired and lethargic. I am praying that her heart will give out, as I know it is meant to be.

We had 4 1/2 wonderful years together and the last 5 1/2 months we have been trying to beat the odds. Unfortunately it was not meant to be.

I will miss her sorely.
