here is an old thread on the subject form the raw food forum. i have a post that sounds rather alarming in that thread, but in reality i have to admit that at the low temps food dehydrators operate at, the teflex sheets are probably fine. having said that, i persnally wouldn't use them, but thats just me. you have to do the research and judge for yourself. teflex and teflon are related, they come from the same lab and are virtually chemically identical.
