For sure. If he's detoxing though, don't do meat, even if it's organic. it can be too hard on the body. But I'm a vegan and I also take a B-Complex (check the B-12 to make sure it's 100%), vitamin A, and extra zinc, along with essential fatty acids (flaxseed oil is particularly good for skin, as is hemp). If he wants to add organic meat back into his diet when he's all clean, then a few times a week is fine. People's bodies all need different things. My body has never needed or wanted meat, the thought of it has made me sick since I was a child. Try adding the supplements and see what happens.
