Re: Liver transplant & anti-rejection drugs

"Anyways, if he does get the transplant a way to minimize the effects of the drugs would be to eat a good diet. But the thing is, when you take these drugs the point is to make the body so weak that it won't do it's normal function of refecting the organ. So if you were to try and still have good health while taking these drugs it wouldn't work. You could get healthy enough that the body would reject the organ and then you would die. It's contradictory to the purpose of the drug."

OMG! I didn't know this. I thought that as long as the blood type matched, everything was gonna be fine. I've never known anyone with a donor organ so the whole idea of anti-rejection drugs is new to me.

And the point is to MAKE HIM WEAK!!!??? aaaaaahhhhhh.....

I will definitely send the Gerson info on to him.

I hope that he is open to this information at this point. He'd been doing really well but in the last couple of months he's been really sick. Sick enough to get on "the list".

Thanks, Mary :)
