Re: Fasting and oil pull this morning is different
you know, i hate to sound contrary. i am in search of answers with everyone else here. i really appreciate your positive attitude on this.
i am not convinced that OP makes the bile flow. the evidence of this so far is that OP has not seemed to interfere with
Liver Flushing from at least one anectdote documented here. it may, in fact , it probably stimulates bile production. and there may not be any practical difference in the end since fat is part of every meal people eat. i just have no way of knowing for sure.
but it seems that any messages to the liver from masticating, especially oil, would trigger bile production. this is the theory in the liver flush, where the nonfat food taken that day increases bile production but does not trigger its release when it flows past the bile duct. this allows the pressure in the liver and gallbladder to build for when the fats do come down the gut and then wham, it gushes forth. people have reported feeling the liver spasm from the olive oil/grapefruit juice that they drink.
the rest of it i agree with. elimination mode is down and out, most of us are so full of it(no pun intended) that the blood would fil and make these accumulated morbid matters available to oil puling. it may also have everything to do with how well the lymph system is working. that white crud that fills and clogs lymph nodes and pores is the same stuff in the oil. if you have ever had a lymph node lanced or have one near the ears that you can squeeze and evacuate, it is that fine ricotta cheese looking stuff. and it all smells exactly like what it is - rotten food particles.
