Re: Marijuana Detox question. I need help!
Having been clean for three years after a severe addiction to Oxycontin, my .02 is that I agree with the above poster. Also put aside 3 or 4 days where you can avoid any stressful situation and devot yourself to this. That way if you want to take a bath (I highly reccomened certain types for helping the shin to detox) you can. If you want to sleep, go for a drive, puke, whatever, you can do it without worrying about other obligations. And finally, for me, I believe in weening down. If you've been smoking a couple of grams of great stuff every day for FIFTEEN years, it's gonna take your mind, body, and soul a little time to get used to being without both the chemicals, and the comfort it provides. I tried to cold turkey it many times, and while the drugs are very different, the reactions are always going to be the same if addiction is there. So anyhew... I figured out how much I was using, and set up a schedule, and slowly backed down until I was basically doing next to nothing, and yet not getting sick. I could have had it over with in a month, but it took me three because I binged a couple of times and that screwed up the process. Those are my thoughts and experiences. I applaud you for your desire. Please let us know how you're doing.
God Speed...
