Memory: B vitamins. Choose puzzles, reading, exercise, etc. instead of TV. Memorize stuff just for the heck of it. When my memory was at it's worst, I couldn't memorize unless I was walking at the same time. Weird but worked. Worth a try.
Sugar cravings: avoid Sugar and caffeine. Make SURE you are getting enough exercise, sleep, vitamins and minerals. Add in chromium picolinate to help regulate blood sugar.
The worse of the cravings will go away within a few days.
