Re: Shampoo Info
A life without shampoo:
1: rinse hair every day with abundant water
2: rinse hair with ACV sometimes, after the water, leave the vinegar on
3: once a week or at need use the following
- if you hair are on the dry side, a carrier oil of your choice + essential oils, see the proportion you feel comfortable with, friction the sculp and then brush for some minutes, they will look a bit greasy for some hours but as they will also smell very good it will be ok
- if your hair are on the fat side, vodka + water+ essential oils, friction and brush
I use the combination of vodka water and essential oils also as a deodorant.
Men can choose essential oils too, but not ylang-ylang maybe!
If you have dandruff try teatree and lavender or ask White Tiger who would know for sure.
The whole thing works as long as you use plenty of water on your hair, if you don't, forget it. I can't because I have very long dreadlocks (which are, modestly, quite magnificent, but take hours to get dry) so I can't rinse them in water every day. The vinegar will make the hair very strong and luminous, the smell will vanish quite fast.
Of course these are very rough guidelines, if you experiment a bit you'll find your
ideal combination. The essential oils have all anti-microbial action, some even more than others. Oil is a solvent. If you brush and rinse with water and maybe also friction with a cloth, you'll remove anything from your hair without the need of any soap (as any shampo on earth is basically made of soap, if not worse)
All hair without exception are very depleted by the use of shampoo. If you experiment a bit and apply all that you know to the care of them, they will become strong and voluminous, etc. But I don't know if I would arrive to the point of putting BSM on them...
