I find that part interesting too. I always have to read several times to get some understanding, so I am planning to get back to it.
But for me it was interesting to see that type 2 usually have high triglycirides.
That might be me. Someone on the cholesterol forum who happened to know that I am a pitta
according to Ayurveda, suggested to cut back on fruit and carbohydrates, that is how she improved her tryglycirides. So I cut back my 4 fruits a day to one and hardly any carbohydrates. Time will tell how this will work out.
