This is most interesting. I myself have been searching for a similar treasure. I am not an "expert" of pirate treasure by any means, however I can offer several suggestions. I wonder if you have thought about asking Andreas about this...he has a forum over on the south shore. He has some experience both with mystery booty, and with unruly parrots, as well as roosters.

Have you considered some bowel cleansing?...or maybe an orange juice fast?

Maybe some of the other forum members will have some additional thoughts.
