Re: sashimi?

Hi TLN ! Well I think most people here are actually more paleo then raw! Im not sure why this forum was started as we already have a paleo forum ! I think some how this was more of a political move to appease the vegans ! But some do eat raw meat, not as one may think of it as hunkering down n a raw steak! Some of us here of course eat sushi but a lot of the diet consist of cooked meats but some raw as pickled smoked or even canned in the case of sardine etc.! But the basic premise is that we avoid all processed foods ,grains and agricultural crops with the emphasis on the hunter gatherer way of eating, which includes foraging for herbs and wild fruit or berries actually! Basically a variation of the low carb diets such as the Atkins diet! Atkins is where I myself learned about this way of eating and this diet helped me in many ways. Learning from Atkins about what then was hardly even considered an illness , that of being hypoglyemic! With this diet I was able to keep my blood glucose levels at a normal range keeping the insidious hyperinsulinism at bay, cured and helped allevite my morbid Depression and anxiety and also last but not least gave me the srenght to quit drinking alcohol for good!
I can't help you much with your question on sushi, but hang in there and maybe someone else will read your post and be able to answer your questions about it!
