Re: source of imbalance
I just had to jump in, since I'm directly in your area - Ferndale, MI. I think I know several people who could help you. My boyfriend is a bodyworker doing Zero Balancing, Craniosacral therapy, and he also knows some of the visceral work. He works with an upper cervical chiropractor who understands that whole list of stuff the medical intuitive mentioned, she is doing some amazing work that begins with relieving pressure on the brain stem by a gentle adjusment of the bone right under the skull - the atlas. Most people are subluxated in this area, and there are only a handful of chriopractors in the country practicing this "straight" chriopractic. I can't begin to tell you how much my whole body has unwound from this adjustment, and all I've learned since to get well began with that, it was a life-saver. Your shoulders & pelvis won't balance out until you address the upper cervical issues. The structural issues he mentioned are all really familiar, and I know of at least one other bodyworker (you could see her in Northville) that could also help you, she does craniosacral work, nutritional counseling, and is also really intuitive and just a lovely person. Her mom works at Zerbo's in Livonia, and they also do some bodywork together. Hard to believe, but you live in a MECCA of amazing healers. It took me years to find that out and meet the most amazing people right here in S.E. Michigan. It's really worth pursing - I know of one osteopath locally who does visceral manipulation, but I was under the impression he wasn't taking new patients. I know I was referred to a female doctor in Ann Arbor, who was great, she's a D.O. & can help with other stuff, too.
anyway, I know a lot of people around here so if I can help, just e-mail: PMTincDT@aol.com. Put something in the subject that lets me know who it's from. Good luck!
