Sounds unbelievable to me that a society could survive while living in that kind of filth. The information should be verified first before passing it on in a public forum. It sounds like a made up story to me.

I used to see Amish people in the zoo in Philadelphia with their children and everyone was very clean and dressed nicely. But when the lady smiled her teeth were not so good.
