perhaps 'lapis' can help you in that department...

lapis is a crusader for raw foods... and i really think he's onto something there... the only thing is that i've just never been able to force myself into following such a diet... my lifestyle is such that there are times i'm forced to eat whatever i can get at the time... but then too... guess i'm spoiled to some degree when i comes to my taste in eating... yet i'm sure i could if my health was such that my life depended on it... (and perhaps indeed it is)...

there's much research in that department... so i'm sure you will not have any trouble finding the answers you seek...
