Re: FSHD Muscular Dystrophy

Hi Donna:
A dear friend of mine told me about your blog on FSH. My brother has FSH; ~ 40 yrs old. Going downhill fast and has noy support as folks here in the USA - he is in the Caribbean where challenged people are parked aside. We have bought him a motorized wheel chair which has encouraged him. But his pelvic girdle muscles are wasting away rapidly and he is scared about not being able to get out of bed soon. Yet his assurance of a home in heaven gives him much peace and hope.
He has no access to the products you mentioned. However, he has found that a bowel cleansing and a orange juice diet with fruits has eliminated skin conditions, a paunch, and overall sluggishness. This is a natural chelation technique which is safer than EDTA used in clinics. But, the question is still what can heal this condition. Tomorrow he is going back on prednisone out of sheer lack of alternative. Anything new on your end?
Blessings,
Yisudas
