Abortion became legal in 1973

That is the year I was born. Thank God my mom didn't think I was too much trouble financially to have. My dad was 17 and my mom was 17. I'm glad they didn't realize the "reality" of the situation they were in and decide to do me in. They are very well to do now. My dad is doing extremely well. It is not right to think young people or a young person can't take care of a baby or that they will fail. My parents had their ups and downs but they made the best of it. Then they had my brother a year later. Having us didn't hold them back at all! The only thing that was hard on them was their own families judging them for being young. But they made it. That is what life is all about. Trying your best no matter what situation comes your way.
