Well, as I have stated before, if the mother's life is truly in danger then I think an early term abortion would be the morally correct decision. But you have presented a situation that is almost certainly HIGHLY unusual....pregnancy nowdays does not usually bring on a death sentence for the mother. Personally I believe abortion should be legal only in extreme medical situations, such as the one you described. The situation of rape is one of those horrible things that happen in life that doesn't really have a good answer....but personally I don't think abortion is it. I also think pro-choicers use rape as a justification to legalize abortion for everyone in every situation. If abortion was just legal in cases of rape, incest and medical situations many people would be comfortable with that.
