Your financial arguement is so weak....especially since you acknowledge that abortion paramount to murder. (very unusual for a pro-choice position, I might add.)

There's no difference between murdering a six-month old fetus and a baby who's 2 days old. Each one can cause future financial implications! What if a mom changes her mind after the baby is born? What if she no longer wants, or is unable to support the baby? Can she just kill him? The law says she can't, for moral reasons...regardless of her financial situation.

But the bloody murderous act is still the same, regardless of the location of the baby or finances of the mother.

And there is always the option of adoption. The waiting line for babies stretches miles long. And even if the mom chooses to keep her baby, there IS actually government and private help for her finances. And YES, I DO ALREADY PAY for these expenses. My church supports a large network of single moms and low-income families. I also contribute by way of my quarterly income tax check made out to the I.R.S.
