Re: Question to Pro life Christians BUT!
Eureka,
While I definitely agree that woman are NOT exposed to the real & potential dangers (health & mental health) of abortion procedures, I have to add this:
It's a Christian's job to catch the fish...it's God's job to clean them!
While followers of Christ are told to recognize sin for what it is, Christ never told his followers to find/locate the wrong in someone else and tell them about it or point it out to them. He told his followers to clean up their own act, avoid sin in their own life; get ALL the boards out of their own eyes before plucking the splinters from others'; let their light shine, and lead people to him. It's virtually impossible for a follower of Christ to touch someone's heart and bring them to Jesus in the way that Jesus clearly stated, when the follower of Christ is pointing out every lil' error and "sin" they have in their life.
I personally disagree with most abortion, but I am POSITIVE that Jesus never implied in any way, shape or form that is MY job to tell others that it is wrong morally.
If a person decides to follow Christ's teaching, it is clearly written that they should indeed live a life that's "clean" according the teachings of Christ...and to witness and bring people to know the forgiveness and love of God by letting their own light shine...but it's between God & the person to "do the cleaning".
Respectfully,
Unyquity
