I have a book about a young woman named Gianna. Gianna's mom was one of those teen moms just after abortion was legalised that was convinced that there was no baby, just a lump of fleash. She did a late term abortion, but Gianna lived! Gianna was eventually given up for adoption, a troubled teen mom just couldn't cope with an ill baby so she gave her to someone who could. One of the other girls who had a "successful" abortion sat on her bed and cried, "it's a baby girl, it's a baby girl, it's a baby girl.." over and over. It really pointed out that many women have no idea what they are really doing to themselves emotionally, not including what happens to the baby!
