i dont have health probelms and i reach ketosis earlier. its light baby ketosis but i still get purple on the strip. i think its because i do have a good metabolism and usually burn fat off when active at all.
you face will get a pallid color, you will have this stagnant yet wierd sweet breath, your urine will start to darken.
my urine doesnt start to darken until i am into my fast. today is the first day its now darker. im all out of my strips! gahhhh. pick some up at the health food store or online. they are pretty cheap.

i 100% agree and have researched the same thing. i did some
Water Fast to break down some muscle weight i had gained. now i am onto juices only.
they say fasting slows your metabolism....i am finding on this fast i am losing more than i ever did (juice fast) and my metabolism seems to be improving actually. perhaps its because i eat right in between and have kept my fasts short? any thoughts on that one?
