With a 9 day detox

What happens if you get pregnant while on the Mirena IUD? I know it's very unlikely. Is it true that you have to have it taken out in order to have a healthy baby but that taking it out can cause a miscarriage? That is probably my biggest concern right now. I'm looking forward to getting the Mirena on September 30th, so now's the time to find out this stuff...
