I know how you feel. I've been doing the macrobiotic diet for 6 weeks now and I've only lost 14 pounds and some days I gain back a pound or two. I'm getting really discouraged. I started out 184 and I am 169 to 171 now. I've been eating exactly what the counselor me to.. brown rice, miso soup and herbal tea. I lost 10 the first week so I was so motivated.
I don't know what to tell you but as many people have told me that I will lose weight and to keep on track. Also people say the slower you lose it the more likely you are to keep it off.
I want to get down to about 130. I have lost 5.5 inches also. I feel like I have been torturing myself with out the results I want... however what keeps me going is that I am cleansing my body and will be healthier! So keep going.
