Another question on metabolising food.


Hi. I finished The Master Cleanse fast two weeks ago. Made the mistake of eating lots of cabage and other veggies on third day off fast and was extremely bloated and constipated for the rest of the week. With the help of much yogurt, prunes and water, I flushed all the waste out of my system in the form of induced diarreh more or less (and hope to avoid having to go that route again). My problem now is how to eat so that I can have regular BMs again. I have been a vegetarian for about 12 years. The past couple days I've been sticking to yogurt, watermelon, oranges, spinach, beans, prunes, grapes, and today I had a banana and some mushrooms sauteed in olive oil too. Still no sign of BM. Am I doing something wrong? Suggestions for what I should be eating? I am clueless about how long it takes for metabolism to get back to normal so if anyone has advise, please send it my way. I don't have access to enema stuff right now so please don't suggest that. Do I just need to drink more water?
