recipe for a nice sweet treat

Ive been making some real tasty granola type bars.
8oz's dried organic figs
1/2 cup of some good local honey
2 cups of raw almonds soaked for 8hrs.
2 cups of raw walnuts soaked for 8hrs.
1 1/2 cups organic oats
1 cup organic carob
process figs, almonds, and walnuts.I use my green star juicer, but a food processor or blender will work.Get it all chopped up pretty fine and gooey.
In a bowl mix all the other ingrediants with a large spoon or with your hands,I use a big old kitchenaid mixer for bread dough but your hands will work just as well.
Place mixture on a cookie sheet and roll it to an even thickness with a rolling pin.
You can agian just use your hands, the roller just makes it look pretty.
Cut into even sized bars and dehydrate for about 18 hours.
Quick to make but a long time to dehydrate
This stuff tastes wonderful and is very healthy with the germinated nuts.
I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did.
